Agilex Technologies, Inc., named for an organization with agility and expertise, is the third enterprise founded by Bob LaRose. Mr. LaRose is a serial entrepreneur whose focus is creating and building companies that specialize in software applications and integration services for government and commercial enterprises. His companies are known for having talented personnel, being consistently well-run, and highly profitable.
In 1976, Mr. LaRose founded his first company, Advanced Technology, Inc. which grew to over $175M in revenue and over 2,000 employees. It was sold in 1988 to Emhart Corporation, a division of Black & Decker, for more than $140M. Shortly thereafter, Mr. LaRose created Integic Corporation, which established itself in the federal healthcare market as the prime architect and systems integration provider for the DoD Composite Health Care System II – the largest electronic medical records initiative in the world. Integic was also recognized by Washingtonian magazine as one of the Best Places to Work in 2003 and won the Greater Washington Government Contractor (GovCon) Award as the Mid-sized Contractor of the Year in 2004. Integic had revenues of $180M and was one of the few privately held companies of its kind when Mr. LaRose agreed for Northrop Grumman to acquire Integic for over $300M.
Bob LaRose has served on the board of trustees for banks and universities. He currently serves with the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children & Women.

As founding partner and COO, Jay Nussbaum is responsible for all marketing, sales and delivery of Agilex services. He is a seasoned sales and marketing executive, renowned in the technology field and Washington marketplace.
Mr. Nussbaum is an expert in creating and leading successful business units. Prior to Agilex, he was the Global Head of Sales, Marketing and Business Development for Citigroup Global Transaction Services (GTS) where he developed GTS’ global business development strategy and managed all sales, marketing and alliance programs worldwide. Before GTS, he created the Managed Services organization at BearingPoint, Inc. (formerly KPMG Consulting), and was later named head of all sales, marketing, and alliance organizations worldwide. During a ten-year career with Oracle Corporation, he oversaw the creation of Oracle Services Industries, comprised of the education, healthcare, communications, utilities and financial services global markets. With Mr. Nussbaum’s leadership, the organization grew from just under $60 million to more than $1.5 billion. Mr. Nussbaum began his career at Xerox Corporation, culminating his tenure as President, Integrated Systems Operations. While at Xerox, he was responsible for integration and consulting services in the commercial and federal government markets.
Mr. Nussbaum has served on a number of advisory boards and committees at the University of Maryland and was Alumnus of the Year in 1989. He has also served in various advisory capacities at George Mason University and James Madison University. Jay Nussbaum has served on the Board of Directors of KPMG Consulting, MicroStrategy, and Northrop Grumman Corporation. He currently serves on the board of directors for Endeavor Acquisition Corporation.

Larry Albert leads the Agilex Healthcare sector. He is an accomplished executive with an expert focus on healthcare technology and military systems.
Before Agilex, Mr. Albert created and led the healthcare practice at Integic Corporation where it became a $100 million business unit within seven years. In this role, he led the design, development and deployment of the world’s largest electronic healthcare management system, the DoD’s Medical System: Armed Forces Health Longitudinal Technology Application (AHLTA). After Integic was acquired by Northrop Grumman Corporation, Mr. Albert expanded the business to include the National Health Information Network (NHIN), and supporting the United Kingdom National Health Service, and the Veterans Administration. He began his professional career at Advanced Technology where he was Vice President of logistics engineering, focusing on foreign military sales.
Larry Albert received his Bachelors degree in Operations Research from the U.S. Naval Academy, and completed graduate work at American University. Before he joined Advanced Technology, Mr. Albert served as a naval officer on nuclear submarines.

Mr. Checco drives the DHSoft Technologies Customer Chemistry division. He brings over ten years of experience as a business and technical consultant. As a technical project lead, he has successfully implemented a number of large software integration projects in various industries. In one of his most recent projects, Mr. Checco worked with statisticians to help define and create the predictive modeling processes that helped a major wireless telecommunications company save several hundred million dollars each year.
Prior to joining DHSoft Technologies, Mr. Checco worked as a technical lead for a variety of companies including The Carpe Diem Group, Phillips Publishing, and MEI Software. In addition to being a Certified Project Management Professional, Mr. Checco also has an International Executive MBA from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.

Al Coffin leads the Agilex Intel business. Mr. Coffin has over thirty years of experience as a highly successful program manager and general manager in information systems engineering businesses. His areas of expertise include intelligence and data systems; multiple-project management; information systems planning; evaluation and selection of hardware/software; large scale system development and implementation of land and space-based intelligence systems; real-time software systems; local area networking; distributed data base systems; systems and software engineering, including formal process improvement and SEI CMM/CMMI evaluation, integration and test of large-scale spacecraft systems, and corporate information systems.
Prior to joining Agilex, Mr. Coffin held various leadership roles at Vangent (formerly Pearson Government Systems), SAIC, General Electric, and General Motors. Mr. Coffin also served as a Naval Officer on active duty in the US Navy from 1971 until 1977. After undergraduate pilot training, he served in a series of challenging technical assignments in the Washington DC area supporting major computer systems for DOD/JCS.
Mr. Coffin holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and Mathematics and a Masters in Electrical Engineering from Rice University.

Mr. Crusing is leading our Commercial and Financial Services business. As a senior executive in software development and IT consulting services, he has achieved unprecedented results in business for both Fortune 500 and private companies. Coupled with his sharp business acumen, is his technical expertise in systems, network and database administration, project management, and product development. He has improved efficiencies, minimized expenses and delivered software solutions to his clients in multiple industries including communications, utilities, retail and government.
Prior to Agilex, Mr. Crusing was Vice President at SPSS, Inc. where he was in charge of sales and management of professional services and pre-sales consulting for all of North America. Aside from increasing revenue over 20% quarter over quarter, he created a unique solution to expand the market for the Enterprise Feedback Management system. As Vice President at Business Objects, he led the professional services practice for central US, Canada and CPG/Retail. There, he grew the practice by 205% in the first three quarters and established the Canadian practice.
Before that, Mr. Crusing was President and CEO of Sistina Software, Inc. with the task of turning this software development company around from a write-off to one with investment potential. Before he left, he had created brand name recognition, global partnerships, and secured over $14 million in investments. Investors received three times return on their investment.
As Group Vice President of Services at Oracle, Mr. Crusing led the Telecom & Utilities consulting practices, as well as seven national specialty practices. He developed and directed several highly successful consulting business units within Oracle, and returned previously unproductive divisions to profitability. Mr. Crusing has a wide range of experience with large-scale database implementations including developing a data warehouse for TXU Energy that allowed them to determine future weather patterns and correspondingly adjust the spot price on the energy that they sold. Mr. Crusing also directed the efforts in business intelligence and data warehousing for Oracle Services Industries.
Mr. Crusing received his Bachelors degree from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Joe Donohue is the CFO for Agilex Technologies. Mr. Donohue is a seasoned financial executive who has managed the financial operations of companies ranging from a 75 year old Fortune 500 company, to a 15 year old software firm, to a startup solutions firm.
Before Agilex, Mr. Donohue led all business development and P&L management for the Customer Support & Education practice at Integic, a Northrop Grumman company. Under his lead, this business grew from $5 million in revenues and $1 million in profits, to $9 million in revenues and $3 million in profits, with customer renewal rates averaging 90%. Before Integic was sold to Northrop Grumman, he created and led the P&L management for multiple practice areas within the organization. He assisted in establishing the first product call center, and created, planned, and budgeted for launch of the company’s customer support and maintenance organization. He also assisted in the planning and negotiations of the sale of Document Systems Group for over $3 million to Moore Business Forms.
Prior to Integic, Mr. Donohue created and led the financial operations for a division with $232 million in revenues at Legent Corporation. During his tenure at Legent, he also led the financial management of the Customer Support Organization. Mr. Donohue began his career at the Marriott Corporation where he assessed the financial viability of new hotel development.
Mr. Donohue received his Bachelors degree in International Relations from Tufts University and a MBA in Finance from George Washington University.

Ira Entis drives partner relationships and marketing at Agilex. He aligns Agilex resources towards common partner goals & objectives and evangelizes solutions to partners, prospects, and clients.
Mr. Entis has a twenty year history of advising organizations on their enterprise use of technology, their communications and messaging, and on business strategy and corporate alliances. Prior to Agilex, he served as the Vice President of Global Marketing at BearingPoint, where he led a team of professionals worldwide responsible for positioning in the marketplace, industry and product marketing, sales enablement, and client satisfaction programs. Mr. Entis began his career at Oracle Corporation, where he led a solutions group that combined Oracle technology, applications, and partner capabilities to drive value for Oracle Service Industries clients. He also developed and delivered the e-business message and business vision. His background also includes implementing information systems for a university, accounting firms and stock brokerages.
Mr. Entis serves on numerous boards of small businesses in the Washington area and has served on the Advisory Board of the Information Technology Services Marketing Association. He is a graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.

John Gall is responsible for major partner development, and merger and acquisition activity at Agilex. Mr. Gall is an experienced executive who has managed the financial operations of two companies. Each went from start-up through sustained revenue/profitability growth, to the eventual sale of each corporation for a combined $450 million. These ventures were developed in the technology services/software market and structured to realize significant equity value for their shareholders.
As Vice President of Finance for the Integic Corporation, Mr. Gall managed finance and accounting for this company that went from start-up to $160 million in sales. As Vice President of Finance for Advanced Technology, Inc. (ATI), he directed a finance operation that supported a company that also went from start-up to a company of 2400 employees and annual sales of $150 million. As each of these companies grew and achieved their long-term business objectives, they were sold to public corporations. As a member of the merger and acquisition team, Mr. Gall was involved in managing the sale of both companies.
John Gall received his Bachelors degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a Masters in Business Financial Management from George Washington University. Before he joined Advanced Technology, Mr. Gall served as Supply Corps Officer in the US Navy.

Jose Garcia leads the Agilex Public sector. He brings to Agilex more than twenty four years of experience focusing on the Public sector marketplace, with an art for quickly determining the right solution to resolve a client’s problem.
Prior to Agilex, Mr. Garcia served as Managing Director of Global Public Sector for Citigroup’s Global Transaction Services. Before Citigroup, Mr. Garcia was the Vice President and Managing Director of Sales at BearingPoint, where he led all sales and marketing activities within the United States and Canada for the State & Local government, Healthcare and Education marketplaces.
Before BearingPoint, Mr. Garcia was a Group Vice President at Oracle where he was responsible for all US sales and marketing activities for the State & Local Government / K-12 Business Division. He successfully managed a team of sales, financial support and technical professionals specializing in providing integrated software solutions (financials, e-commerce and customer relationship management) to the Public Sector.
Mr. Garcia holds a Masters of Business Administration from DePaul University and a Bachelors of Business-Marketing from Western Illinois University.

Carole Guerin leads all corporate communications and public relations at Agilex and partners with the CMO in managing all branding and external relations campaigns. She is also responsible for the daily operations of facilities management and administration. She is the corporate Secretary for Agilex Technologies, and is supporting the Agilex Mentor-Protégé Program with Brown Technology Group.
Ms. Guerin came to Agilex from Integic Corporation, where she directed all corporate internal and external communications, branding, public relations, and served as Corporate Secretary of the Integic Charitable Foundation. Previous employment included CEO support at Advanced Technology, Inc. (ATI) and office management responsibilities at a Fairfax law firm. Ms. Guerin is a successful communications professional whose flair for eliciting corporate spirit, and creating and launching engaging communications programs, including radio spots, earned her the nickname “the voice of Integic.”
Ms. Guerin received her Bachelors Degree in English from George Mason University.

Tim Hoechst leads Agilex’s research and development of new technology solutions. He represents Agilex with its executive customers and provides counsel on IT issues.
Prior to joining Agilex, Mr. Hoechst spent 19 years at Oracle Corporation in a variety of roles. Most recently, he was a Senior Vice President in the Public Sector Division leading the technical professionals that supported Oracle’s Government clients in the United States and Canada. The product and industry experts on his staff helped Public Sector organizations exploit information by designing and building comprehensive information management solutions. Many of their innovations have become part of the Oracle product line and are used extensively by Oracle’s customers throughout the world.
As the Chief Technology Executive for Oracle in the Public Sector, Mr. Hoechst was also a spokesperson for Oracle on technical and industry issues. He has a special talent for describing sophisticated concepts in accessible language. He represented Oracle with customers, at conferences, on Capitol Hill, and in the media. He also sits in an advisory capacity to several Government organizations on science and technology issues.
Mr. Hoechst joined Oracle in 1988 as a consultant and built information systems for many of Oracle’s largest federal customers including the IRS, the VA, the Postal Service, and the Department of Defense. In 1990, he coauthored a book called Guide To Oracle as part of McGraw-Hill’s Database Experts Series. During his career, he has held a variety of technical positions working with development, marketing, sales, consulting, and Oracle internal IT. This breadth of experience has allowed him to develop the technical and social perspectives required to offer practical solutions to those he advises.
Hoechst received his Bachelors Degree in Computer Science from Harvard University.

David Marrow leads the DHSoft Technologies sector. He has over twenty years of experience as a technical consultant and developer for both government and private industry, managing and assisting large development efforts from concept through implementation. As a software engineer, he has been involved in the development of eight major software applications, with functionality as diverse as image storage and retrieval, text search engines, electronic procurement, and Web-based order entry. For the past five years, Mr. Marrow has focused on supporting predictive modeling systems, integrating Business Intelligence Systems and Data Mining Systems for Fortune 200 companies.
Prior to forming DHSoft, Mr. Marrow spent four years as Director of Development with Procurement Automation Institute, five years as a technical project manager with CACI, and two years as a project manager with Holbrook & Kellogg, as well as providing consulting services to many clients. His interest in computers began as a programmer analyst in the US Navy.

Teri Nevarez has responsibility for the daily operation of Agilex’s Human Resources organization. Ms. Nevarez brings more than fifteen years of HR leadership experience with a strong background in recruiting, employee relations, performance management and benefits within both the private and public sectors.
Prior to joining Agilex, Ms. Nevarez was the Director of Human Resources within the Intelligence Group at Northrop Grumman Corporation. She spent most of her career at Integic Corporation, which was later acquired by Northrop Grumman. At Integic, she held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as Vice President of Human Resources. She began her career at SAIC in the Human Resources Department.
Ms. Nevarez received her Bachelors degree in Business and Finance from Mount Saint Mary’s College and her Masters degree in Human Resources Management from American University. She served on the Board of Directors of New Horizon Credit Union prior to its acquisition.

Dr. Wendell Ocasio is responsible for Agilex's healthcare strategy. He is a renowned expert in Electronic Health Record architecture, design, integration, deployment, and training. His expertise spans both the domain aspects of medical informatics as well as the technical aspects of large-scale systems integration, performance, and capacity planning.
Dr. Ocasio was the Chief Architect for the Department of Defense’s $4 Billion global longitudinal electronic health record, AHLTA. He transitioned the system from a test platform involving two hospitals into the largest electronic medical record in the world, spanning hundreds of facilities and millions of patients in real time, worldwide. Dr. Ocasio architected groundbreaking modifications to the system allowing data to be stored in local caching repositories, greatly increasing system availability during network or data center outages. At the request of the Military Health System’s CIO, he led the tiger team of government and contractor senior engineers during the analysis, troubleshooting, and repair of a major performance issue. He oversaw the design, development, and implementation of major software and hardware enhancements, including critical database management system upgrade as well as an overhaul of the storage subsystem configuration.
Before Agilex, Dr. Ocasio was at Northrop Grumman where he was the lead architect for one of the four architecture prototypes of the U.S. Nationwide Health Information Network. There, he designed the prototype’s federated architecture approach using Service Oriented Architecture principles, and an HL7 RIM-based canonical data model.
Dr. Ocasio is a sought after speaker and panel participant in the healthcare IT forum. He has won many awards including the Department of Defense’s Military Health Service IT Professional of the Year in 2003.
As a Harvard National Scholar, he received his Bachelors degree magna cum laude in Engineering Sciences. He received his M.D., cum laude from the Harvard Medical School – Massachusetts Institute of Technology Health Sciences and Technology program, specializing in advanced technology and research. He completed his residency at the New York University Medical Center and is board certified in surgery.
Dr. Ocasio was a medical officer in the U.S. Air Force. He continues to practice medicine as a volunteer general surgeon at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, DC and the Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center in Fort Meade, MD.

Robert Otto heads the Advisory Services division at Agilex. He is one of the most distinguished and highly recognized CIO leaders in government and industry.
Mr. Otto comes to Agilex Technologies after 38 years of federal service with the last 27 years of service at the United States Postal Service where he served as both the Chief Information Officer as well as the Chief Technology Officer for this $75 billion organization. In this role, he led, managed and maintained the Postal Service’s IT infrastructure, provided IT business solutions to support business objectives of the organization, and managed one of the world’s largest technology networks and the world’s largest intranet. During his tenure at the Postal Service, Mr. Otto reduced the overall IT spend by more than $100 million annually while implementing cost avoidance solutions that annually saved another $50 million.
Mr. Otto oversaw a massive consolidation to standardize the entire organization’s systems, implemented Shared Services in IT, Finance, and Human Resources while simplifying their overall management and support. Under his direction, the agency transformed itself by modernizing its infrastructure, web-enabled their applications, refreshed over 200,000 desktops/laptops, implemented computer security and wireless technology, enabled mobile computing through hand held devices, and consolidated over 25,000 servers at hundreds of locations across the country to just 3,000 servers at two IT centers. Before leaving, he implemented virtualization and blade technology reducing servers and costs, saving the Postal Service millions more a year.
Mr. Otto also managed one of the largest email, wireless blackberry and data warehouse services as well as the USPS.COM web presence that annually generates over $500 million in revenue. His organization was the first business to implement a single instance of SAP Human Resources to support over 700,000 postal employees.
Mr. Otto has won numerous industry and postal awards including the Vice President’s Award in 1996 and 2000, the Inspector General Award in 2001, the Board of Governors Award in 2003, and the most prestigious John Wannamaker award in 2007. From 2004 to 2007, his organization was recognized as one of Computerworld’s 100 Best Places to Work in IT. This is an achievement that no other federal, state or industry organization has yet to achieve.
He received his education and training from the University of Virginia, Duke University, and the University of Maryland, with a Master’s degree in Public Administration from American University.

Charlie Virtue is implementing and managing the comprehensive human resources program at Agilex. He brings with him more than twenty-six years of progressive leadership experience in all areas of HR.
Before Agilex, Mr. Virtue spent more than ten years at Integic Corporation prior to and after its acquisition by Northrop Grumman Corporation. At Integic, he led the company’s Human Resources organization and also served as a corporate officer. Prior to Integic, he held HR leadership roles in such organizations as GTE, Contel Federal Systems, Space Communications, and Bechtel.
Mr. Virtue has a Bachelors degree from Pace University and is currently working towards a Masters degree at Hood College.
