Contracts

A World-Class Program Management Team

The executive management team at Agilex has significant experience in executing prime contracts in excess of $100M. In addition to prime contracts, Agilex also supports major government programs as a strategic subcontractor to many of the industry’s most respected system integrators. Our staff has also administered and managed large programs during their previous government service.

To support the unique requirements of our government clients, we have established a dedicated contracts management office, led by our General Counsel, to maintain continuous compliance with both government-wide contracting requirements and contract-specific provisions. We also utilize industry-standard software, such as DELTEK financial management and Microsoft Project, to streamline project management and reporting, such as Earned Value Management tracking, and to provide full auditablity.

Based upon the Project Management Institute’s PMBOK® guides, Agilex has developed a formalized program management methodology for executing contracts and related task orders. It is utilized by both customer-facing and back-office staff working closely to consistently meet (or exceed) client expectations in terms of timeliness, adherence to budget, quality, and effectiveness. The key phases of this approach are as follows:

  • Initiate – Establish clear expectations, both internally and with the client, for the project in terms of roles, responsibilities and anticipated outcomes.
  • Plan – Define the contractual scope, project schedule, resource requirements, and financial and quality metrics for the project.
  • Execute – The project team will procure the needed resources and commence execution.
  • Control – Ongoing performance monitoring to evaluate and report upon project performance and status, resource utilization and costs, and adherence with change order requirements.
  • Closeout – A defined process for obtaining final project acceptance(s), executing contractual actions, and fulfilling administrative requirements, such as debriefings, returning client resources and archiving project artifacts.

All of these efforts are designed to provide our government clients with a number of significant benefits, including:
