An Integrated Team of Health IT Experts

To meet the critical challenges of modern healthcare, Agilex has brought together a diverse team of industry experts. They have been at the forefront of the health information technology revolution for over a decade. For example, they are the architectural, engineering and healthcare leadership that took the Department of Defense's Electronic Health Record (EHR) system from a slide deck ten years ago to today’s largest globally deployed EHR. They were also responsible for the development of one of the four prototypes for the Nationwide Health Information Network (NHIN). Currently, our experts are leading the deployment of the NHIN CONNECT Gateway, working with the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology and the Federal Health Architecture on this important initiative.

Another important strength is our demonstrated expertise in working with carrier-grade implementations, where the challenges of security, compliance and interoperability are arguably greatest. Equally important, we have also been an active participant in the development of key healthcare standards and reference models.

We use this background to design, implement and manage complex, heterogeneous healthcare systems to deliver mission-critical performance. Using our Integrated Requirements Design (IRD), we are able to fuse together key elements of enterprise architecture (EA), business process modeling and software development requirements analysis to provide organizations with a more holistic, outcome-oriented approach to implementing complex Health IT systems.

Consistent with our name, Agilex is also a noted practitioner of the Agile model for software development with our developers certified in the SCRUM methodology. Integrated quality control is a principal benefit of the SCRUM method as our iterative approach includes automated testing on a daily basis and weekly reporting and benchmarking. As a result, we are not only able to develop new applications faster, but we are also able to reduce risk significantly.

Finally, we are experts in all aspects of the healthcare value chain, equally conversant with clinical, claims, and pharmaceutical data as well as the various semantics that go along with them.
